Feature Friday - January 10th: Last Dashboard filter is Default Filter & Approval Rules per Contract Type

As we approach the weekend, we wanted to take a moment to share some updates on the features we've been working on.

Here's what's new:

Last Dashboard filter is the Default Filter

We are excited to announce that with this new feature, your last used filter will be the default filter.

Key benefits:

Hasstle-free dashboard switching: When you are switching between dashboards in Data Hub and go back to a particular one, you no longer have to manually adjust the filters to the last used state - simply you will land where you left off previously.

Seamless experience: When you are close to the end of the month and you are using certain dashboards, you will no longer have to constantly adjust the filters for your current needs.

Improved URL sharing experience: When a colleague finds a new data point that is important to you, you will no longer have to manually apply any filters. You now can simply use the URL they shared with you and all filters will automatically be applied for you.

Approval Rules per Contract Type.

With the release of this new feature, you are now able to configure your approval rules per contract type.
Many of you have requested an extension of the Approval Rules feature, so you can be able to specify different approval rules per contract type as there are different rules and thresholds that make sense for the different types.

The solution
We are introducing an additional level of flexibility where you can now have different approval rules per contract type.

Feature highlights

This feature is visible only if you have your Approval Rules setting enabled.

In the settings of each contract type, there is now a 2nd tab called “Approval Rules”.

By default, every contract type inherits the general approval rules (the checkbox in the new section is disabled by default). If you enable it, you are able to specify a unique set of approval rules for that contract type. If you disable it, it will again start using the general approval rules.
