Booking Cancellation Policy Improvements

We are releasing a small update later this week that improves the way reservations are handled. A notification will now more clearly prevent members from editing meeting room bookings during the cancellation period.

Members will not be able to make changes to the date and the time of their meeting room bookings during the cancellation period - only cancel the meeting and incur the cancellation fee.

If operators want to to adjust cancellation policies for certain resources they can navigate to Settings/Platform. Scroll down to the Booking Cancellation Policies section and click Add Policy. You can read our help article on configuring cancellation policies for bookings here.

No Changes to Admin Bookings

This update will not affect the way operators can adjust paid bookings within the cancellation policy in the admin portal. Operators still have full control to adjust the booking time based on their discretion.

The booking cancellation policy improvements provide greater transparency and accountability for meeting room usage, as members will not be able to make changes to their bookings without proper authorization.
